Often referred to as the horse or horse braid.This art comes from people jelataSejatinya, Jathilan is a dance drama featuring the valor of a soldier on the battlefield on horseback while wielding a sword. As shown, the dancer uses a mock horse made of woven bamboo or animal skins called Horse braid. Dancers put this horse braid between her thighs so that it looks like a knight on horseback, dancing to the accompaniment of musical instruments drums, bonang, saron, kempul, trumpet and ketipung.

They wore knee-length trousers, batik fabric subordinates, shirts or sweatshirts, setagen, buckled belts, shoulder straps (enthusiastic), waist scarf (sampur) and a cloth headband (udheng) and ear ornaments (Sumping). The dancers dressed up and wearing flashy sunglasses. Certainly very different from the dress of a royal princes wear self-contained and sparkling. Dance tended to be exhibited repetitive and monotonous with a simple musical composition, but with passion.
Identical to the TranceJathilan is a dance drama with fellow horsemen battle scenes with swords weapons, where the priority theme of this dance gallant soldiers who fight on the battlefield on horseback and armed with swords.
